Spellbinders Envelope of Wonder New release

Hello my friendly crafters! Long time no see on the blogosphere. I really need to get better at this and I apologise for my absence. Today though I am here to tell you about the new Spellbinders release: Envelope of Wonder. This die-cutting collection is incredible!

You can shop all the material used at the end of this post. I use affiliate links at no extra cost to from which I could potentially make a commission, thank you for your support!

The main collection comes with the dies to create the envelope which could be used as an actual envelope and not just a "mock" design which I think is fabulous. It also comes with tones of dies to create gorgeous blooms as well as the tag I attached to my envelope and where I stamped my sentiment.

I married the dies with the Spring Color Vibe collection by Simple Stories which ensured I had a very pleasing colour combination and made the job of selecting the shades super easy!

For added bling, I finished the heart of the flowers as well as added some decoration with the Metallic Gold Pearls by PinkFresh Studio. I hope that you are inspired to create gorgeous greeting cards!

Thank you for stopping by,

Lots of love xxx

BRAND NEW RELEASE Spellbinders Winter Evergreen Foliage dies or how to use your cardmaking dies in your Scrapbooking!!!

It's that time of year! Christmas in July is here and we are starting the celebrations with a layout where I played with the BRAND NEW Spellbinders Winter Evergreen Foliage dies which are so cute!

I had been wanting pine branches dies for a while now to add details to my wintery layouts and I am so happy I was able to get my hands on these. I have added a full list of the material used at the end of this post.

I wanted to create a layout that truly shows how dies which were primarily designed (and sized!) for cardmaking could also be used in your scrapbooking pages and I wanted to let those dies SHINE!

To create the bow I followed this design (not to scale):

I decided to only use papers and cardstock from the Colour Vibes collections by Simple Stories and I am so pleased I did. The final wreath is truly breath-taking and my photographs on my layouts really pop.

Also I wanted to let you know that Spellbinders very recently opened a store in the UK where you can get your hands on all their goodies! No more risking custom taxes!

I have a process video for you too on my YouTube Channel right here:

Spellbinders Stitched Alphabet Collection

Hello friends! Today I have something different to share with you: a Flipbook decorated with some of the brand new Stitched Alphabet by Spellbinder. Are you ready to see some more? Let's go!

A little while ago, I was contacted by Spellbinder's team to see if I would be interested in playing with some of the brand new Stitched Alphabet. What else could I say but YES!!! Those alphas are so cute and there are quite a few ways to use them as you will see with this album!

For the cover, I stitched all the flowers and used two tones of cardstocks which I mounted on top of each-other with double sided foam pads. This added a nice volume as well as extra texture.

I then wanted to try and use them without the stitching and with patterned paper. I loved the result! As you can see above, I kept the sticky foam pads for volume.

A mix of patterned paper and cardstock is also a good recipe!

My last way of using the dies was without the foam pads which still gives a cute result although I do miss my beloved volume.

I had so much fun creating this mini album! You can find all the supplies used below. These are affiliate links at no extra cost to you. I may earn a commission from them. Thank you for your support.

PinkFresh Studio April 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hello all! Welcome to the PinkFresh studio Blog hop! This is so much fun! Today we are celebrating the release of the April stamps, dies, stencils and hot foil plates. You can find all the new products listed below.

As always with any new release, it was very hard to pick which products to use! However, the stars dies and hot foil plates really caught my eyes as well as the Simplest gesture stencils, die and hot foil plate. I love that products originally designed for cardmaking are so versatile and easy to use for scrapbooking!

Here are the products I have used for this project (Affiliate links at no extra cost to you):

And here are the other products part of this amazing release (Affiliate links at no extra cost to you):

Let me just start by saying wow! The stars set caught my eye straight away but I am truly amazed at how versatile that set is! You can create full stars obviously but also widows, frames, shakers and so on! The cherry on top of it is that you can't even start to imagine how many scraps of papers I was able to use-up instead of just discarding on this layout.

You can very easily cut your papers with all the stars nested into each other which mean that not only you save on paper, but you also save-up on time. As my die-cutting machine is a hand actioned one, my wrist was thankful for this! I could cut 3 stars in one go!

And let's talk about the Simplest gesture set!!! I am in awe at how refined the floral is. I know that this will be one that I will be using a lot as not only it is beautiful but it is also super easy to use.

The hot foil plates for the stars are great! I love the line of foil it adds at the centre of the stars but I also love how the remaining foil found on the leftovers can be also used to foil the edges of the stars that were cut as frames.

All in all this release is incredible and here is how you could get your hand on it:

Pinkfresh Studio Happy Heart/Life Right Now Collections Release Blog Hop

Hello all! Welcome to the PinkFresh studio Blog hop! This is so much fun. Today we are celebrating the release of the two brand new scrapbooking collections Happy Heart and Life Right Now! You can find all the new products I used below.

Both collections are stunning and it was hard to pick only one to work with but in the end I went with Happy Heart. The spring colours, florals and butterflies are right up my alley! Here is where you can find them (affiliate links at no extra cost t you, thank you for your support):

I love florals. I can't help it. I instinctively gravitate towards them when I create and I especially love to create clusters with them.

For this layout I really wanted to make the patterned papers shine. They are so beautiful that I felt they needed to be the star of this layout. I went with a sunburst design which I then stitched on a sheet of colour cardstock to then ruffle the edges. I then placed my photograph and clustered loads of ephemera either side of it.

I love the layering and texture it all create. There is some serious detail going on here and I love all the little pick-a-boos which can be found around.

I love how all the colours work beautifully together and the stitched patterned on the some of them remind me of the movie Encanto (no, no, I will not talk abut Bruno!) which mean, you couldn't be more on trend if you tried!

I really had fun creating this layout! But this is a hop so make sure you visit all the girls taking part. You should have come here from Dilay Nacar and you should next head over to Heather Hoffman.

Play along with us and you could win the full release on the Pinkfresh blog & YouTube channel as well as a total of TEN $25  gift cards along the hop. As per usual with blog hops - the winners will be picked from the comments so the more comments you leave, the more chance you have to win!
