"Enjoy" layout using the **BRAND NEW** collection Happy Hearts by Simple Stories

 Hello hello everybody! 

I hope you are all well! 


I am feeling pretty lucky right now as I am super fortunate to already be playing with the STUNNING Happy Heart collection by PinkFresh Studio! Yep! Smug face and all.


It is full of butterflies and florals which are always a winner for me and the pastel colours make this new release a Spring must have!


I fussy cut the the edge of the New Beginnings sheet to frame my layout and then went on to fussy cut a lot of butterflies from the Beautiful Moments sheet.


I created a full shaker layout by mounting the edge onto velum paper and then mounting this one  onto the Fresh Flowers sheet.


A few sequins and gems helped add the sparkle and colour to the shaker. It was then very quick and easy to finish off the layout with the Mini Alphas, the Title Ephemera Pack as well as some enamel dots.



I love to have my butterflies looking "life-like" so I made sure to prop the wings up. You can achieve that by popping some double sided sticky foam pads underneath the wings to avoid them getting flat. If you store your layouts in an album though, they will flatten no matter what! 


The mini alphas have a gorgeous variety of colours which remind me of candies. I made sure to keep the effect by using the letters in different colours on each words. Curving the words make it look like the flight path of the butterflies.

Layout using the Full Bloom Collection by Simple Stories



Hi everybody!
I am so happy to share with you a layout created with the gorgeous “ FULL BLOOM" collection by Simple Story. 



I love this collection so much! The patterns and prints made my heart sing the whole time I was crafting with it!

          



I fell in love with so many of the patterned papers that I wanted to feature as many of them as possible. I jumped on the idea of blooms growing by creating 3D flowers using the 6x8" paper pad.



 

I hand stitched the stems. It is such a relaxing process! It adds texture to the layout all the while making sense with the layout itself. Each flower is made out of 3 layers of patterned paper which allow me to showcase the gorgeous prints without getting overwhelming.





The cute little bees just had to make it onto the layout! They are the cutest and I love to see them "dance" on my layout.




 

The foam title creates a great anchor to my photograph and helps finish off the page. With such a busy layout, the photo really needed that big title to help it "pop"

Smile Layout using the Good Stuff collection by Simple Stories

 Hi Everybody!



I am so excited to share with you this layout I created with the Good Stuff collection by Simple Stories! I love this collection so much and this layout was truly fun to create!


I got to get all inky with the amazing stencil. It is a great graphic design which can be super versatile! It definitely has made it onto my favourite pile!




I used the Stitched Heart dies by PinkFresh Studio to cut out my patterned papers and I love the result! It is so cute.



It is so easy yet effective to create volume by using sticky foam pads to attach your elements to your layout! If you have any favourite brand or supplier for them, I would love to know! Please tell me in the comments!
